Church this Christmas?

Postby tinkerbell on Tue Dec 15, 2009 3:55 pm

I was just wondering are you going to church this Christmas? In this day and age when we are not being allowed to have a Christmas holiday anymore or a Christmas Tree or say Merry Christmas! The whole meaning of Christmas has been lost in a cloud of consumerism, it's now all about what you buy, what you receive and what you eat. However lots of people still go to a church service at this time of year, maybe it's a tradition or maybe they go along just for the ambience of the church, whatever it is it is wonderful to see so many people coming along to a church. The other evening I was driving to my work's Christmas do and I drove past a church in Hove that had a HUGE queue of people waiting to get into the church, this was so wonderful to see in this day and age! So is anyone else popping into church this year to remember what this celebration is all about?
