How life wheelie is for me
I do hope that this gets you thinking about life in general and put general day to day life into perspective! By sharing my own true life experiences, I hope to delve into your own sub-conscious to help you understand and realise what life really does hold.
Even when there appears to be little reason to live it!
I also hope to share regular trials and tribulations of my everyday experiences with you. In the hope, I can give the next person who walks or wheels their way in my shoes an easier and more humorous ride of their lives.
A disabled mother and soon to be grandmother of three girls, aged from 18-3 years. Became unwell ten years ago, following repetitive snooze button silencing of the alarm clock that would wake me each morning to give me enough time to get up, wash, dress, eat, drink and drive to work. Where I would work as a registered nurse in the role of ‘sister'. After my shift I would return home, collect the girls from school, cook tea, bathe the kids, read bedtime stories, put the kids to bed and then have a few hours with my hubby to talk about the day and enjoy the peace of the evening, with coffee and television.
Little did I know that this particular morning of January 1999, would change my life forever! That incessant silencing of an alarm clock, with sitting on the edge of the bed stretching ones muscles would result in slipped neck discs, non-mobility and being unable to care for ones self or her family, even at basic levels. This particular morning had started just like all the rest.
This is just a slight taster as to how the life taken for granted can turn.
My quote is "Your whole life can change in seconds" enjoy it.
