Did you know that there is a week that is about celebrating and supporting the hardest job any of us ever do? Being Parents.

Parents Week is in its 9th year and getting bigger and better as it continues. This week is not only to celebrate the hard and worthy job we all do raising our children, but to identify the great services and organisations that are there to help us be parents. The Family and Parenting Institute promotes this week as a way to support consultations with parents and families on what they feel they want and need from the parental support services and parental organisations, nationally and in their local area.

Normally we have an event during this week to celebrate you, the parents of Brighton and Hove, but this year in response to comments we have received, concerning there not being enough free events for parents to take their children to, during half-term we have planned for our event to occur the following week.
