Diplomas are central to the reforms set out in the 14 -19 Education and Skills White Paper (2005). This is the most important change to the country's qualification system in a generation.

It is hoped that diplomas will bridge the gap between vocational and academic education.

Brighton and Hove has secured The National Diploma Roadshow for two days on October 23rd and Friday 24th. This major event will be held in The Great Hall at Hove Town Hall. The Roadshow is aimed at students in years 9 and 11 but on Thursday 23 rd October between 6pm and 7.15 pm there will be an opportunity for governors, teachers and parents to experience the roadshow for themselves. We would be delighted if you could join us on this evening.
