Gone Blank!

1st Apr 2010
Well I've been trying to write this blog for a while now, it has been a couple of months since I've had the chance and now I've made some time to write one I've gone completely blank. Seems that I've been so busy I can't actually remember what I've been doing lol!

Actually though I've been working with the Core Strategic Group on the end of year finances for the Parents' Forum as well as planning out our events for the next year which hope to be VERY exciting so watch this space!

I have also been working with families from Fairlight Primary School for the past few months alongside other professionals in the new FAST programme which was an amazing experience and what a privilege to get to work with such wonderful families! It really was a very new way of working with parents and the final graduation service was truly overwhelming, for more information check out the FAST website http://familiesandschools.org/

Following on from our meeting with parents and Susie Haworth the School Meals Manager we are organising some playground training for parents seeking the views of other parents, for more information take a look at what happened at the meeting and the flyer for the training.

Here are some links to some of the interesting National News and Developments that I've seen in the last month which I thought you might be interested in:

The Easter holidays are coming up and there are so many events and things going on in the city over the next few months so don't forget to keep checking our events calendar for some ideas of what to do, you might even see us at some of them so keep an eye out for us!
