Swine Flu update

Brighton & Hove Council have updated their information page in the light of children and young people going back to schools and colleges this term.

Advice for parents with children going back to school is also available on the Health Protection Agency website

Teachernet's Q&As for parents has some helpful advice as well, with answers to questions like; should schools with cases remain open, what working parents should do if their child's school is closed and is it better for children to catch swine flu now? All the answers to these and others can be found on these helpful pages.

There is also some helpful updates on the NHS Choices website, particularly if you are pregnant and want to know about the vaccination process.

The advice is still very much about hygiene with the Catch it, Bin it, Kill it campaign being publicised and encouraged in all schools.

We will keep you informed over the next few months if advice develops and/or changes.
