October Half Term Suggestions

Half term is here and again meaning it's time to come up with something for the kids to do.

Whether you are looking forward to it or dreading it, all of us have the same problem....How to occupy the kids without emptying your bank account.

The autumn we have had so far has been spectacular, but we also know the cold rainy weather could come at anytime.  So we are including indoor and outdoor things to do.

First, to check our events calendar click here.  We have done our best to include as many of the events available in the city for half term, but keep an eye on this page as we will still be adding things for half term week up to the last minute.

The Royal Pavilion also offers a special deal to Brighton and Hove residents.  Take proof of residency (Council tax or a utility bill) to show the Cashiers on the day and you will only have to pay £4.15 per adult which then allows up to 4 children accompanying you to enter free.  That is a huge savings from the ordinary price.

Brighton and Hove has three museums that are extremely varied in their collections and change their exhibits enough to make it worth a visit if you haven't been there in a while.

The Brighton, Hove and Booth museums have their own website so you can check which exhibitions they have that might appeal to your family.

There is always something going on at one of our city museums.  Check out the latest events here.

Below are links to other museums that might be an interest to you and your family.

The Brighton Fishing Museum

The Brighton Toy and Model Museum

If the weather continues mostly as it has done it should be nice enough to try a new park, participate in a Health Walks or Join the Park rangers in one of their Autumn Watch activities.

We hope that you have found these suggestions useful, but if we are missing something, why don't you drop us an email and let us know?      .
