Neighbourhood Councils Consultation Event

12th Jan 2012

Change is in the air!  Come along and find out more about what changes the local authority are proposing around neighbourhood governance and local decision making. Councillor Ben Duncan, Cabinet Member for Communities, Equalities & Public Protection, will give the city wide vision, and Sam Warren, Community Engagement Coordinator, Brighton and Hove City Council, will give national examples of local decision making bodies. There will be a Q&A session and your chance to have your say, with discussion groups to input directly into the consultation.

The event is on Monday 23rd January 7pm – 8.30pm (tea and coffee available from 6.40pm) in the meeting room at The Friends Meeting House, Ship Street, BN1 1AF. There is wheelchair access and a disabled toilet.
