Training for parents who want to have their say

• Have you ever wondered how you can influence council decisions that may affect your family life?

• Would you like some ideas and support in helping to set-up your own parents group?

• Who are the parent representatives and what do they do?

We are organising free training to help answer some of these questions and give you the skills to feel like you can be more involved in affecting what happens for families in the city.

The training will take place on Thursday 3rd and 10th May from 10am to 2.30pm at The Brighthelm Centre, North Road, Brighton.

The two days will offer training in different areas so we would encourage you to attend both if possible. We are able to offer reimbursement for travel and childcare costs and there will be free refreshments available including lunch for all attendees.
