From April 1st, just in time for the Easter Holidays, under 16's and over 60's get to swim for free at the local council run pools.

To get the free swimming for your child, You just go into your chosen centre with the completed and signed form and child's proof of age, such as original birth certificate or passport.  The child will have their photograph taken for the membership card then so they must be with you.

All those registered will receive a membership card which must be presented on each visit to allow access to the following pools:

  • Prince Regent Swimming Complex
  • King Alfred Leisure Centre
  • St. Lukes Community Pool

Your child will get to swim for free in the following session types:

  • All general swimming
  • Lane swimming
  • Family and Fun sessions

Swimming lessons and sessions before the end of the school day during term time will still need to be paid for.

See your local swimming complex for a registration form and/or for details on how to register for free swimming for over 60's.

You are able to swim as often as you would like in the sessions highlighted as free (subject to restrictions).
