Fancy a change?
It is often at this time of year, with the children starting or going back to school, we parents think of doing something for ourselves! If this is you then the Community Skills and Learning team may be able to help you. They provide informal support to adults who may be thinking of starting doing some learning.
They can offer:
- Individual help to get you on the right course for yuou
- Free workshops and short courses in local venues
- Friendly and understanding tutors
- Support to move onto other courses, but only if you want to
As well as one:one support for people to move towards employment
- Employment and training advice tailored to you
- Support in creating a CV and applying for jobs
- Work experience placements
- Guidance on other useful agencies
