Easter Family Fun Day
Brighton & Hove Parents’ Forum is organising a Free Family Fun Day on Wednesday 11th April (during the Easter Holidays) from 11am-3pm at Jubilee Square and Library. We are running this event as part of the series of events taking place during Brighton & Hove Children's Festival.
Jubilee Library’s Children and Young People’s Team are supporting us with this event and we hope it will be a wonderful day for families to come together and do lots of fun things on the day whilst finding out about services available for families in the city.
Some exciting things that are happening on the day include:
In the Children’s Section of Jubilee Library
10.15am Stories of courage and bravery…. and of being a little bit scared. For the under 5’s.
11am Meet some of our hero’s from White Watch, Preston Fire Station and find out what a fire fighter has to do and wear.
11- 1pm Are you brave enough to handle and sketch some of the collection from The Booth Museum? Sketching workshop run by Brighton & Hove Museum Service
1.30 – 3pm Scared to attempt origami? We’ll help you to defeat your fear with origami varied in difficulty. Are you daring, adventurous or fearless? There’s a pattern to suit all. Ages 7 and up.
Outside in Jubilee Square
11.30am Drumming Workshop for all those who can brave the noise!
12.30pm Mujishan – an adventure of the imagination
2pm The Original World Famous Brighton Punch & Judy Show by Blue Sky Theatre
There will also be Facepainting, Badge Making, Arts and Crafts, Playdough, Batak and Table Tennis, Seedbomb making, and demonstrations from Yogabugs as well as so much more!
