Consultation on school holiday dates for 2010/11

The Children and Young People's Trust is currently consulting about the school term dates and holidays for the academic year 2010-2011, they would like to know how parents feel about these options to ensure that they can take these into consideration when making this decision.

In past years some of the decisions about these dates have made it more difficult for families. This is your opportunity to have your say and make sure all the facts affecting families are made known to the people that matter.

Below are three attachments for you to look at.

There are two different options for the school dates - Proposal A and Proposal B, they are quite similar but have different dates for the start of the term in September and for the Christmas holiday break.

There is also a supporting briefing paper explaining some of the reasons for the differences in the proposals to help you make your decision.

If you would like to comment or feedback your opinion on these options you can click the link below. This link will open a new page.
