Can You Help Close the Adoption Gap?
This year's theme is the ‘Adoption Gap', which is the difference between the kinds of children that most potential adopters want and the kinds of children that are waiting, sometimes years, for a family of their own. Most people considering adoption are looking for baby, but there are so many other children that are looking for a home.
Would you consider adopting an older child, a sibling group, a child with a disability or one with developmental uncertainty, because these are the children that often find themselves waiting for years to become part of a family.
The Brighton and Hove Fostering and Adoption Team are holding two Information Days coming up in the next two weeks, the 14th of November and the 23rd of November . The second information session is also for people considering fostering in Brighton and Hove.
