Last month there was Anti-Bullying Week (November 17th - 21st).  Our child being bullied is one of the things that we as parents worry most about.  What concerned us was that outside of our children's schools there didn't seem to be a lot of information out there about this week. Bullying isn't always just between school children.  It happens to people at work, to mums picking up their kids from schools and to people in their own homes.  This issue touches most families in some way.

As we are always updating our Web Link's page, we have been spending some time looking for some links for parents to use if bullying touches their family.  Most of them are aimed to assist parents and the children that are being bullied with specific sections for each.  Take a look.  You would be surprised how many different kinds of bullying there are and what some kids go through.

Bullying.co.uk -Offers practical advice to kids and their parents about bullying via their website or email.

BeatBullying - This group is one of the highest profile anti-bullying charites.  This site has very separate section for adults and professional and for the children themselves.

Beat Bullying also has it's own channel on YouTube.

Kidscape - Helps children prevent abuse and bullying.

Anti-Bullying Network - This group supports anti-bullying incentives at schools, places of work and in the community.
