Brighton & Hove Children's Festival 2010

The Brighton & Hove Children's Festival returns for its fourth year running from 12-18th April 2010. The theme this year is transformation and families from across the city are invited to take a chance on something new - transform yourselves, your environment and each other. There are seven days of (mostly) free events, performances, tours and workshops for all children aged 0-11 at various venues across the city. Events include: 

  • Alice in Wonderland
  • Babyoke
  • Create a book at the Book Nook
  • Egypt
  • Horror movie makeup workshop
  • The Devil's Sunrise
  • The Grand Hotel mini mile races 
  • Plus many, many more

Events are either drop-in or need to be booked in advance. All drop-in events are on a first come, first served basis on the day of the event. To book a place at an event please phone 01273 293907 or email childrens.festival@brighton-hove.gov.uk with the name of the event and your contact details. Please note only two spaces can be booked per child to ensure that as many children as possible can take part in the Festival.

For more information as the Festival progresses please visit the Festival Box Office at the Kids Cafe in Pavilion Theatre which is open each day of the Festival 10am-4pm.
