Do you want to write stories? Local author Cathy Watts will be reading from her book ‘Sandies in the Beach Huts’ and the sequel ‘Hello Again Sandies!!’. Find out how to put your ideas onto paper and turn them into a book. Cathy will also be bringing along her sea-side collection to help you get creative and will be signing copies of her books on the day.

This event is part of the city’s second Aqua Festival. The festival from 8 to 19 March forms part of Brighton & Hove’s programme of sporting and cultural events to celebrate the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics. There will be more than 20 free events, from seaside story times, creative writing workshops, and flip and fun days to an older people’s Olympics Day.
