October 2009
Thy leaves have ripened to the fall;
Tomorrow's wind, if it be wild,
Should waste them all.
The crows above the forest call;
Tomorrow they may form and go.
O hushed October morning mild,
Begin the hours of this day slow.
Make the day seem to us less brief.
Hearts not averse to being beguiled,
Beguile us in the way you know.
Release one leaf at break of day;
At noon release another leaf;
One from our trees, one far away.
Retard the sun with gentle mist;
Enchant the land with amethyst.
Slow, slow!
For the grapes' sake, if they were all,
Whose leaves already are burnt with frost,
Whose clustered fruit must else be lost--
For the grapes' sake along the wall.
October by Robert Frost

Now is the time for our October 2009 Monthly E-Newsletter.
So, Sit back, have a cuppa and enjoy.

They will be working with three local communities who have not participated before. If you want to be a part of it, you must purchase a lantern kit which not only allows you to make a safe lantern, but it is your ticket to allow you to participate in the parade and enter the VIP viewing area during the event. There are only a limited number of these available to purchase so get them fast if you or your children are interested in being part of this amazing and well known festival.
Go to their website to find out details about where to get the packs and information on the event itself.
