2011/2012 School Holiday Dates Proposal
The Children and Young People's Trust is currently consulting about the school term dates and holidays for the academic year 2011-2012, they would like to know how parents feel about these options to ensure that they can take these into consideration when making this decision.
Portslade Community College Proposal
This consultation is about the possible replacement of Portslade Community College by an Academy. The proposal is to open the Portslade Community Academy, specialising in Entrepreneurship and Science, in September 2011 on the same school site.
Balfour School Merger Proposal
Brighton and Hove Council is proposing to create a new primary school to replace Balfour Infant and Junior Schools by closing Balfour Junior School and extending the age range to create a new single school catering for pupils aged 4-11 years.

Not counting our bloggers, there are only a few people volunteering their time to write all the articles on the e-newsletter and to do all the regular maintenance needed on the website. If you have a few hours to spare a month, we could use your help.
