Easter Entertainment

There are a wide variety of events being held in Brighton and Hove over Easter and we at the Parents' Forum have put together details of just a few that might be of interest to your family.

Advertise Your Event Here

Are you involved in an organisation or business that holds events for families in Brighton & Hove? Or do you know of any events that we haven't added to our events calendar? Well now you can complete a short and simple online form to add your own events to let parents in the City know what's happening for them.

Brighton & Hove Children's Festival

The Brighton & Hove Children's Festival returns for its fourth year running from 12-18th April 2010. The theme this year is transformation and families from across the city are invited to take a chance on something new - transform yourselves, your environment and each other.

School Lunch Concerns

Last summer we undertook a consultation with parents' about what they thought about food in schools. We received some really helpful and useful feedback which we then used to inform focus groups, see what the parents said.

Culture for Kids Enquiry

Parents have always had lots to say about what's available for families to do in the City, now B&H Council are reviewing cultural activities for children. If you feel strongly about this subject come along to one of the public meetings.

Playgrounds Re-Open

As many of you may be aware lots of the city's playgrounds are currently being improved as part of the My Play Space project, this has meant many of them have been closed for the duration of the work being undertaken. Check out here for the opening dates.

Easter Sports Courses

This Easter the council's Sports Development Team is running a short programme during the school holidays, from Tuesday 6 April - Friday 16 April.

Wild Planet

Wild Planet has come to Brighton seafront! It will feature 80 of the most spectacular images taken from Wildlife Photographer of the Year go along to see a real spectacle.

Do you enjoy our monthly e-newsletter?  Would you like to see it bigger and better?  Not counting our bloggers, there are only a few people volunteering their time to write all the articles on the e-newsletter and to do all the regular maintenance needed on the website.  If you have a few hours to spare a month, we could use your help.
